Meet your instructor Tania Kuba
Tania Kuba is a 63-year-old yoga instructor who founded
Positive Me Positive You in 2023. Her infectious enthusiasm is reflected in a vibrancy for all things wellness. As a health-conscious woman, Tania endorses approaching our minds, bodies and souls holistically.
Even if she’s wearing jeans, she will happily demonstrate a yoga pose, regardless of where she is or who she’s with! Her zeal for sharing her passions has transformed into creating a serene, eclectic garden shala dedicated to her community. When she isn’t trailblazing Bayswater with Bingo and Alice, she’s nifty with power tools and unafraid to brandish the occasional splinter for home projects.
You will always find the front door open to friends and a spot at the dinner table free between the knitting projects, oracle cards, journals, and her (always packed and ready to go!) beach bag– just follow the delicious scent of her cooking! She bakes a mean sourdough!
A Holistic Approach to Life
Positive Me Positive You is pillared by the following:
Emotional Wisdom
Self Healing
Personal Development
Positive Me Positive You has been a personal project turned vocation for Tania Kuba. It extends beyond the generic positive mindset that people are encouraged to adopt through social media and focuses on aspects of the self (both the good and the bad) that can encourage realistic optimism and personal growth. Letting go of control is an important lesson Tania promotes.
Tania’s mindset has evolved since Positive Me, Positive You was just an idea on a sticky note on her desk. For her, releasing control meant adopting a newer, healthier mindset in her practice. Where previously Tania was focused on perfecting each yoga pose so that it looked correct, she has now shifted to what feels right. Positive Me, Positive You is an invitation to use the wall, ask for help, and be imperfect! Taking care of our innermost selves will reflect on our physicality, energy, and the world around us.
“Having no fear is easier said than done– there will be days you can do it, and others where you can’t, but showing up authentically means appreciating what the practice presents on the day. Asking for help and seeking community is your greatest asset.”
